The Strange and Unexpected in Creatures 1

My attention was focused nearly entirely on Ellidyr in Creatures 1, since he was nearing the twilight of his life. I was struck by what he called the computer… “Guwgi” was in reference to Gurgi, a Norn lost during an importation glitch. It was strange to see his name pop up again, since apparently Ellidyr had picked it up at some point! Funny how life has a way of surviving in unexpected ways. Meanwhile, Ellidyr brushed up on his vocabulary.

On the desert island, Taran had to close his eyes when he saw so many sprite and body data issues! Orgoch had a tiny body in old age, Orddu sported a disjointed ankle, and Orwen was just misaligned. One of the three ladies had another issue, though… Another egg, to be precise! I spent some time on my sprite project, and still anticipate releasing a test version within two weeks. Then Taran won’t have to shield his eyes!
