Re: Hello Everyone :)

Have a super belayed welcome! Although, in the grand scheme of things, you have been playing the games much longer than I did.

Re: Heya everyone, it is I.

I myself only had the time to even the various webpages once every 2 or so weeks starting February this year, and this issue may continue starting late June, but it did feel like the entire community was almost completely drained after CCSF and until recently there has not been much activity save fo...

Re: Kannova Venterra [C2] (Finished)

It appears we're officially done.

Both Version 1 and final update to Version2 of Kannova Venterra were sent to CCSF 2016, along with two surprise breeds with similar traits that I've cooked!

Re: CCSF 2016

Hm. I can't make any promises about it, but 2 weeks time should be enough to give me some time to test out my two extra Creature 2 breeds. Since it's going to take me some time before I can comfortably set up a blog of my own, I could upload them together with the first genetic breed I made...

Adoption Center [TCR Links]

Hello everyone! A while ago there was a short discussion in the ideas/suggestions topic about locals here at Discover Albia forums sharing their creatures with one another. Sometimes, we develop a surplus of creature we can't take care of anymore, or find a breed or a world concept that makes us tem...

Re: New(-ish) Crossable Breed(s) [C2] (Final download update)

I have enough info to conclude the testing. - The newer version produces slightly more errors/faulty births, seemingly, when crossbred with regular Cannies. It's not very noticeable, and the fault may also lie on the side of the Canny breed I've been using (Bat Norns have a slightly altered metaboli...

Re: Sleep Disorder? [C1]

This looks strongly like the lunacy issues that happen in Creatures 2, particularly kannova-brained Norns. I think the Norns occasionally search through their instincts and accidentally abandon resting in favor of trying them out, and as an engine limitation this doesn't always make them awaken. Jus...

Re: Hive Mind Ettins Issues [C2]

Now, my Injector Kit crashes when I select Hive Mind cob.
Not inject, select.
Geez.

I think I'll reinstall Creatures 2 fresh soon.

Re: Hive Mind Ettins Issues [C2]

I tried various combinations (Injecting the cob first and then hatching Ettins; injecting the cob after hatching Ettins, etc.). Having two Ettins always lead to a crash in a world with other creature breeds already present. The Ettin & Grendel Selection Applet is one of these couple of things yo...

Re: What Causes Norns to Dance? [C1]

I'm fairly certain I downloaded the updated genomes before starting the game. The Norn in question is a child of a 1st generation female Forest norn and 1st generation male Pixie Norn. Like I said, the eternal dancing was already mostly identified and remedied, but I do need to monitor chemical 80 a...
