Original Discover Albia Norns Available for Download
A very special thanks goes to Creatures Caves for adding 26 new Norns as downloadable adoptions! The original Discover Albia Norns could not be completely forgotten, and I hope to hear about their adventures in other C1 games! I would be very interested to hear from members of the community who adopt one, two, or even all of the Norns! The unhatched eggs were hatched, so about half of the adoptions are brand new babies ready to learn about Albia. I would be happy to answer any questions about any of them, although I tried to include brief but helpful descriptions.
I wanted to take a quick moment to mourn the loss of four original Norns who could not be added. Enterra and Olennia could not be imported back into the game, no matter what I tried. Although they never actually died, I fear that they are now lost forever. I believe they both were pregnant when they were exported, which may have been part of the problem. I have their exported files still, but I’m not sure what can be done.
On a sadder note, two of the newly hatched eggs resulted in two healthy boys named Vilnom and Talfis. Upon re-importing them, however, they immediately died. I should have made back-ups of them before attempting the importations, but with no other problems, I assumed that they would have no problems. Vilnom was the son of Azdira and Brennis, while Talfis was the son of Enterra and Windren. They may have only lived for several minutes, but they will be missed. Make sure to visit Creatures Caves to adopt some of the original Discover Albia Norns for Creatures 1!
Sad to hear about Olennia and Enterra, I wonder if I could help, if you could send me one of the files I’d be glad to see if I can get them to Import.

Thanks so much! I’ll send them both over to you shortly. I know for a fact that Olennia is perpetually pregnant, due to a mutation. Something tells me that Enterra became pregnant shortly before I exported her, too. I never thought it was an issue to export/import pregnant Norns… Or it simply could be something else! No worries if you can’t get their files to work: I would love to be able to recover them, but I have no idea what the real problem is. Thanks again for your very kind offer!
Oh no… I really liked Enterra. My last memory of your last post was of her picture riding accross the ocean. I hope you can recover her.
Hi Kittie! Hopefully Darren can recover either Enterra or Olennia, or even both! It would be nice to be able to share a pregnant Norn, since I’m not even sure who the father of Enterra’s unborn baby is. Makes for a nice little surprise!
Good luck, Darren! I think we’re all hoping for the best, but know that these two may have been lost. At least Enterra lives on through Nedris, but poor Talfis was also her son.
I’ve had a go, but I can’t seem to import them, it always freezes my game, I can import other creatures just fine though, sorry.
My guess would be that the files for the two somehow corrupted.
No problem, Darren. I appreciate you taking a look at the files. Enterra and Olennia will be missed, but I’m happy that they were the only ones lost. Maybe I’ll look into how their files were corrupted… It might have to do with the pregnancies, or maybe not. Thanks again, though!
THEORY: Enterra is sailing the seas of Albia, taking Olennia with her on a quest to find the Shee. Thinking this is much happier than thinking of them as lost for good… ‘Tis a shame, though.
That’s certainly a great way of putting it, Chip! I was sad to lose these original Norns, although I’m happy with the progress that’s been made. It’s also nice to know they’ll never be completely forgotten, both through their adventures chronicled here and through their downloadable files.
