Creatures 1 Family Tree at Discover Albia
After a long wait, Discover Albia now features a Creatures 1 Family Tree! This visual example shows the relatives of current and past Norns, as well as some other details. The page will be updated to keep up with new births. Once the second generation has completed its reign of Albia, the family tree will be updated to prepare for the next generation. Hopefully this resource will be useful to those who wish to understand the gene pool! It also provides a way to see which physical traits were passed along more commonly than others. A family tree for the C3/DS world will also be in the works, and will hopefully be released shortly. Enjoy!

Awesome idea. I’ve been considering doing one myself for my C1 Norns. A while back I used an internet tool to do family trees for my C3 Norns, but having so many Norns made it almost impossible. I think it’ll be a lot more managable with C1 :D
It’s very interesting how you’ve actually put the family tree together. Is there some kind of ‘Blogger’ pluggin that you used?
I just saw your post about your C1 family tree, ArchDragon! Time to celebrate these genealogical endeavors! It’s difficult enough with Norns having multiple partners, but when breeding starts to cross generations, it gets almost impossible to have an organized family tree. I’m pretty happy with how I’ve separated out the generations, both in C1 and C3/DS.
It’s actually a Javascript code on the page. It still needs a bit of tweaking, especially when I get around to adding to the second generation. If it’s something you would be interested in, I would be happy to share the code when I’ve gotten it completely under control! It’s actually useful for any page requiring expandable/collapsible content.
If only there were an easy Blogger plugin to use! Luckily, once you understand what the code is, it’s just a matter of adding in a few lines of HTML among the content. I’m glad to hear that it’s working!
An, JavaScript. I’ve done a little work with that so I could probably wrap my head around it. Would definitely be interested in seeing the code once you’re done.
Javascript is another language to me, but luckily I seem to have found an updated code. I’ll be switching over the page this week, although there should be no noticeable difference. It mainly just has to do with future generations and having the images appear on the right part of the screen. I’ll send you an e-mail when everything is all set: Feel free to utilize it!
