Egg Humor from an Unexpected Norn

My resident intellectual, Krathlaysi, was recently traveling around Albia in search of the perfect place to lay her first egg. I expected something daring, something so out of the ordinary that I would have to dub her a Norn genius! Instead, Krathlaysi decided to let her maternal instincts take over, and she chose a surprisingly perfect spot for her egg! It blended in perfectly, and its proximity to a weed made it all the more safer. The exhausted mother even camouflaged herself while napping. It might not have been the most interesting idea, yet Krathlaysi displayed a good deal of intelligence for a Norn!

However, she was actually to be outdone in terms of silliness, at least for a single moment. Athahain, who had recently entered old age, decided to celebrate her age by showing that she was still young enough to add another egg to her family! She switched places with Krathlaysi, and must have tapped into that unique thinking energy: She laid her egg directly under the still, and her plea to “run dis” made me think she was trying to make the still fill up the egg! My Norns never cease to make me smile.
