The Lazy Days of a Creatures Summer
When I last left Coll in Creatures 1, he was isolated from everyone so that he could escape all the stresses of life. I was happy to see that his testosterone levels had begun to rise, while he seemed happy at last. Sadly, it was not meant to be. While I attended to the other Norns and Grendels, Coll slipped back into his old ways. Oddly enough, he decided to freeze in one place in the garden and just stare at some of the toys. There wasn’t a gene to blame, though. I let Coll be himself, and I settled for the fact that he might never become a father again. There are worse things in Albia, however, like antigens and sprite problems!
Someone who needn’t ever worry about not becoming a father was Ellidyr. Achren took a rest while she relied on him to keep a watchful eye out. Actually, the updated body data and sprites suddenly kicked into gear, and Ellidyr finally had all the right poses! His feet also seemed to be lined up much better. Talk about an instantaneous improvement to quality of life.
I was hopeful that Doli and Dwyvach might share in the same celebration as the Grendels, but it was meant to be. Besides, Doli had been pining after Eilonwy and practically ignoring Dwyvach! On a side note, the Banana Norn has some of the worst sprite and body data issues… I thought Doli was drunk when he walked oddly to the right, but it’s actually an issue with the files. There are countless other problems with the Banana Norn that I intend to correct. If only I enjoy the fixes, I’ll be happy, although I’m planning on releasing the updates to everyone to enjoy!
Life was actually very quiet and as lazy as a summer day. For around twenty minutes, nothing too exciting happened. It was a welcome break from the normal Norn chaos! When Doli finally succeeded in kisspopping with Eilonwy, I expected Dwyvach to be somewhat jealous. On the contrary, she was happy for her fellow female! Only I seemed a little concerned, since Eilonwy had struggled through her last pregnancy and had only just fully recovered. Blame it on Doli, of course!
