Suspected Nornicide on the Eve of a New Alpha Couple

Four of the seven brothers decided to make a break for the door, although I had cleverly hidden it from view with the Door and Lift/Button Hiders. Before the little gang could get very far, violent slapping threatened to dissolve their little gang. In turn, this resulted in an incessant conversation about who disliked who, and how that Norn disliked the Norn who disliked him. At least several of them fell asleep, which ended the chatter!
As I went off in search of the other brothers, I was greeted with an ominous death icon. A death already? I guessed that someone had drowned in the unsuspecting pond, but I was utterly baffled when I found the lifeless body of Tinver. A thorough medical exam showed no bacteria, nor toxins. None of his needs were even remotely high, and his pain level was next to nothing. It was a very mysterious death… Adding to that mystery was Xerman, who stood over his dead brother a little too innocently. There were no witnesses: I figured this was a classic case of Nornicide. Rest in peace, poor little Tinver.
In happier news, Hendar had befriended his youngest brother, Fewlin. Even though he was the biggest and arguably strongest, Hendar seemed to be a gentle giant among his brothers. He had spent some time with Tinver, while he was still alive. Hendar had a favorite phrase he uttered quite often: “Hendar happy.” It was priceless! As the conclusion of the alpha male succession test loomed on the horizon, I wondered if being the oldest would give Hendar an advantage. He had been through a lot already, and seemed like a prime candidate. I had showered the brothers with lemons to alleviate their sneezing fits, which seemed to do a world of good for the young Fewlin. He needed all his strength for the final hurdle.
The last brother remaining was Gontor, who had made a little home for himself in the trees. He was quite the adventurer, though he was a solitary traveler. All of the males had made it to either the youth or adult life stage, which signaled the exciting task of determining the next alpha couple. Only one of these male Norns would be able to rule and pass along his genes: Who would it be? It was difficult to pick a favorite, although I was a little wary of Xerman. Everyone was in excellent health, aside from a few stray sneezes. Pretty soon, the Norn Terrarium would be completely abandoned and silent.
Although I had intended to allow the alpha female to continue her reign, I slightly modified my plans to remove Nevorria. After all, Brenlee was her true love, and they had already created a very large family! Jorie and Iollis were already healthy adults, ready to bear their first children. The third generation was not very far off, although it was nice to enjoy this utopia of peace and quiet. Creatures 3 and Docking Station are not known for being boring games… Even when I expected nothing to happen, Tinver passed away. Even the females could not be entirely safe from bacteria. It seemed that luck was on their side, though! They had no idea what was in store for them when they reached the C1toDS metaroom.
Saedra and Meena decided to make the most of their last moments together in the Norn Meso with a posing contest. Although she was a Hardman Norn, Saedra had grown accustomed to the other females. She still looked downright angry and liable to kill, though! The benefit of Saedra’s breed was her quickly maturing genome, which put her at the youth life stage at just about the same time as Fewlin. I braced myself for what was to come, and luckily, all of it would be captured on video. I could only wish that nothing would go terribly wrong, and that the alpha couple would be determined quickly and easily! Remember that Seyon, the Magma Norn, still had a chance! Any predictions on who the alpha male and female will be? Stay tuned!

No predictions no, but another finger waggle in your direction. Shame on you, showering the boys with lemons! (It’s okay, I know how hard it is to keep your Hand off of things;)
In a way, it was kind of natural… Had they been in the Norn Meso like the females, they would have had access to the lemons. Or that’s what I told myself. Ha ha! It was rather difficult to watch them all have an allergic reaction. There was no indication that they would have perished from the histamines. But indeed, staying completely out of the picture is a difficult task for me!
