The Case of Too Much Norn Attention
Poor Thrennion! His status as one of the last male Norns in Albia put him in high demand, and he was about to get even more popular with Zelroo and Hybralvao. Chip wrote a beautiful tribute story for me, featuring several of my C1 Norns. Make sure to check it out: It’s really a touching tale, complete with some humor! Thrennion was a character in it, and word quickly spread about his fame… If “fame” was even the right word. Ha ha! Zelroo and Hybralvao latched onto everything he did, and Thrennion had to take a few deep breaths to ignore their constant attention. Even the bouncing ball wasn’t as interesting as he was!
My lone Grendel, Dahloi, still seemed to be oblivious to the death of Nildeleer. However, he stared at the spinning top as if it reminded him of her. Since they had gone off to live their own lives long ago, he assumed that she was off in another part of Albia. Maybe it was a good thing that Dahloi was ignorant of her passing: They had a bit of an odd relationship, although deep down they were the best of friends. He was enjoying his time with the Norns, yet Dahloi was alone in some ways. At his slow rate of aging, there was also the chance that he would be the final inhabitant in Albia. I would be sure he was never completely alone, though.
