Unusual Decorations Around Albia
Written onThe holidays might have ended long ago, but Hleengar was determined to keep the Christmas spirit alive in Creatures 1! He was last a central member of the Norn group when Losthrayte slapped him, and he slunk off to the Norn settlement for a little peace. It was actually a very fun spot for him to live in, with plenty of honey! Hleengar was a little upset that a Christmas tree hadn’t been brought to Albia for the holidays, so he improvised. A little tomato plant looked the part… In some strange way! Hleengar approved of his genius idea, and how tasty the tree was!
The only other inhabitant of the settlement was Nildeleer, who was no stranger to interspecies friendships. I caught her taking a short journey on her own to watch the lovely waterfall. She and Dahloi had formed an interesting relationship long ago, yet they had been separated for quite some time. Dahloi traveled across the sea to watch Athahain lay her egg, and I wondered if he had forgotten about Nildeleer. At least Nildeleer didn’t seem to have forgotten him. She was just unsure as to how to seek him out.
The youngest Norn in the world, Pfeffablel, grew up much faster than I expected! She was still within the normal age range for an adult, though, so I supposed it was all because Albia was such a busy place. She had her sights set on Mayth as soon as she went through her final growth spurt. He was certainly one very popular Norn! The two most recent eggs were his, and it appeared that Pfeffablel wanted to make him a father-to-be yet again. Mayth was overwhelmed by so much activity, though: He was far more comfortable taking things slowly. So slowly, in fact, that he fell asleep!
Elsewhere in Creatures 1, everyone else was crowded on the desert island. Krathlaysi learned an important lesson: Don’t take everyone with you on vacation! She did enjoy herself, yet a free boat ride sounded like the perfect plan to escape from the madness. I was getting a little frustrated with my Norns, many of who refused to eat due to the excitement of having such a large gathering. A little honey seemed like the perfect thing for Krathlaysi, only she dropped the empty honeypot when she was done with it. Somehow, it ended up in the water and looked like it was going to float! Krathlaysi looked in puzzlement. What a strange thing!
Hleengar, you’re a GENIUS!
