Unexpected Surprises for a Dejected Norn
Athahain went through quite a lot the last time I saw her, when she was basically abandoned by a potential friend. She tried her luck with Pathun and Pfeffablel, yet they moved on without her. Poor Athahain was left all alone to hide behind one of the weeds. Lonely and unwanted, it was a very depressing sight. The little red roses growing nearby looked so pretty, but poor Athahain’s dejected appearance made Albia seem rather dismal. There was a group of Norns not too far from her, yet she barely stirred when they were within earshot. I was certain that Athahain regretted leaving the desert island, so I headed back to take a look at the happy place.
At that moment, the magic of Creatures came back in an instant. Somehow, Mayth snuck his way over to take a look at Athahain. Suddenly she found herself pushed into a role of importance, for she had a little egg on the way! All of that waiting was heartbreaking to witness, yet it all worked out in the end. Norns oftentimes have their wonderful moments when they seem to have real emotions. Mayth was a little stunned by Athahain’s immediate happiness, but he was very polite and stayed right by her side while she celebrated. It was the perfect way to begin the next chapter of her life!
One lonely Norn’s woes were over, yet there was another who was even more alone. Krathlaysi met up with Athahain on the island, before settling in. I found her staring forlornly at the lift buttons, lost in her usual world of randomness. Fortunately, she traveled on the boat to take up a temporary residence in the treetop. She was a very unique Norn who hadn’t yet found her place. Athahain had some luck on her side, so it seemed like there was plenty of hope for Krathlaysi! All she had to do was find someone who could handle her strange tendencies to forget how to eat!
While I was in the neighborhood, I decided to check up on my Grendel, Dahloi, who was all alone on the island. Only I discovered that he had disappeared… I thought he might have passed away, and my heart sank. I slowly traveled back to witness Athahain lay her first egg, which turned into a very large celebration. Apparently everyone wanted to be there! And then I glimpsed a familiar face in the submarine. Dahloi made the journey of his own freewill, and was there to watch his friend celebrate her milestone. C1 Grendels make the best of friends!

Aww, it’s great to see Athahain making friends again!
I’m sure you get this question a lot, but will you ever be continuing your Story Time segment? I just got around to reading them last week, and was so disappointed to see that they stopped!
Although a bit overdramatized, this really was a lovely moment for Athahain! Hopefully Krathlaysi will have the same bit of luck.
I actually stopped writing because I never received much feedback, and thought it was something not too many people enjoyed. But now that I know there’s at least one person out there, I’ll certainly get back to it! Might take me a bit so I can get back into writing it, but I’ll be sure to get working on it again soon! I think I might have one more chapter already written. I’ll do my best to have that segment back up and running again in the next couple of weeks!
Awesome! That’s really exciting! You have such creativity with the creatures world, I can’t wait to see where the story goes!
Thank you! Means a lot to know that my ramblings aren’t all that awful. Ha ha! I did find one unposted chapter, and I’ll continue writing sometime soon. Shouldn’t be too long of a wait until the chapters are posted regularly again!
Make that two people! I was curious where you were going with the story.
Oh, thank you! One person is enough to get me motivated, but two makes this more of a priority! Just need to make sure I can get into the mood for writing. Luckily, I’ve still got the plot outline memorized and just need to put it all into words!
