Looking Towards Danger in Artemiidae
Artemiidae sat quiet for a bit, sort of like a pool of standing water. However, it jumped back into action very quickly! Those who watched the most recent Creatures Hive video may have spotted an interesting twist of events. Remember that the Past Seas metaroom has been used to house the dangerous Banshee Hydrolisks. I expected they would migrate at some point… But I wasn’t prepared to spot a Colortrue Pearl Mermaid Norn in the area! She was oblivious to the danger, yet she didn’t know where to go. Watch and see what happened!
It’s always important to know how different breeds will interact in a world, and not just an aquatic one. The two Grendel breeds seen in Artemiidae, the Artemia Grendels and Banshee Hydrolisks, might seem related… Yet they’re vastly different. One can coexist with Norns without ever resorting to violence, while the other actually gains nutrition from attacking Norns (and other Grendels). Why have both? Because a perfectly safe world has little intrigue, and those violent Grendels need a home, too! Enjoy this latest chapter in the lives of the Artemiidae Creatures, and be sure to check back often!
