Xodin the Dreamer
Xodin made a trip back to the mainland, after realizing that the island can get a bit stuffy. Perhaps he came looking for me, since I’ll grudgingly admit that I neglected him for a time. With Adria running away from food and a growing number of young Norns who needed to learn their vocabulary, Xodin was near the bottom of my list.
However, he seemed to find a cozy place to rest near the submarine bay. It wouldn’t have been my first choice for a nap, what with the dripping water and all, but I guess Xodin knows what he’s doing! Seems like Grendels sometimes rest or sleep a bit better than Norns, but I think the main inhibitor is the fact that Norns can get so distracted. Meanwhile, Xodin has returned to the island again. Maybe he missed watching the seahorses. That would be a sight to see: An aquatic Grendel! Maybe that’s what he was dreaming of, surrounded by the sound and feel of water…
Aw, Xodin looks like he’s having a good dream there. Glad to see he’s still doing fine and that you updated on him. I love hearing about the Norns and their adventures and I know why you update on them more (their interactions and because you can select them), but it’s nice to hear about the other species of Albia every once in a while, too :)
I’m glad you enjoy hearing about Xodin! After today’s updates, I hope to snap a few more photos of him and provide more regular updates on him. Things went amuck in Albia recently, so I missed out on Xodin’s discovery of the still and the supply of hootch. He had himself a grand ol’ time, and I hope he’ll return there soon so I can share the expressions on his face! Thanks for commenting!
Not sure if you know, but I believe there was a cob created for creatures 1 that allowed you to select the grendels. Wouldn’t have a clue where to find it anymore; hopefully it’s still out there.
Thanks Arch! I’ve heard of this COB, but haven’t taken the time to look for it. I’m pretty sure it’s still available, though, and it’s definitely one I’m interested in. I’ll post a link for it when I find it: Thanks for pointing it out!
A merGrendel would be a sight to see…
That it would be! There are a few Creatures 1 Grendels available out there which have slightly different behaviors and actions. Although I haven’t seen any MerGrendels for Creatures 1, I do believe there are a lot more options available in Creatures 2 and Creatures 3!
