A Failing Laptop
The laptop that houses everything related to Creatures is a tricky little machine. I named him Orpheo after an evil magician in an old video game. I imagined that things would work perfectly fine for a time, but I’m waiting for everything to freeze again, as it has for the past two or three weeks. I plan on trying to find a solution, but my options are pretty slim. With no other available computer to install games on, Discover Albia and my Creatures experiences are on a bit of a hiatus. I’m hoping for the best, since Orpheo has fixed himself before without any help from me. He’s a temperamental beast, yet I really need him to get back on his feet! I truly apologize for my absence, and hope to bring back my Norn stories soon!

Are you at least backing up your Creatures Directory, on CD or flash memory?

Thanks for the support! Unfortunately, it looks like my laptop is finished for good, although I do have some hope left that I’ll be able to salvage a portion of my files. It just involves a lot of quick movements and many, many reboots. I’m not entirely sure what I’ll do in the meantime, but I most certainly plan to be active in the community! Where would I be without Creatures?!
I Definately want to read more stories! Maybe you could make another world with C1toDS? Or maybe you could with just C3 or 2? Starting over isn’t so bad.
