A Time for Babies, Babies, and More Norn Babies
Written onAfter his proud moment of becoming the alpha male, Raefim left the surface behind and decided to spend some time in the Chione caverns. Persia was not about to let him wander around alone! In no time, she soon had a batch of four eggs ready to burst forth into the world! She had a rather colorful coat pattern compared with the more neutral colors of the other Norns, yet I imagined that her children would somehow be able to blend in. The first order of business were the eggs from Raefim and Belisa, the alpha couple. I hardly expected to see a difference in appearance, but the spots and stripes made for an interesting sight. There was no escaping them!

The first eggs to hatch in this generation held mostly females, though Anterrik was ready to begin his life as a potential alpha male of the next generation! He took on the characteristics of his father, save for his Hardman Norn head that he inherited from his mother. Behira, Courini, and Deshriva were exported, but not before I managed to snap a couple of adorable pictures! I carried Anterrik to the Norn Meso, and I hoped that he would soon have a few playmates to spend his time with. That, or the often mentioned idea of a nanny Norn!

Persia’s children were just about as varied as they could be! Her ChiChi Norn appearance showed up in every way. I was pleased to have Eulalia and Hevridia join the group for the next generation. Folios and Gedrim found their way to the usual exported Norn folder… I was a little sad that Folios was a male, only because Persia’s head would not be passed along. The two sisters began life together in one of the lower caverns. Many siblings born at about the same time often formed close bonds, and I hoped that this was the same fate for Eulalia and Hevridia.
The snows of Chione blanketed the world a few times before Felria and Kyrena were introduced to Raefim. I had a sad realization that they might be rather lonely without the company of the other. However, life had to go on. Before I could hatch a new first generation female to join the two babies, one of these two friends found herself an expectant mother! Persia had been rather lucky with two daughters to carry on her line, and I hoped that these upcoming eggs would hold a few females to continue on the line. Was it Felria or Kyrena? Check back to meet the new babies and find out which female was the mother!
