Lights, Camera, Action! Watch Albia Come to Life
Written onGrab a delicious snack and settle in for a new Creatures 1 video! It was far too long since I last posted one, and I figured it would be a nice surprise to take a look at my current world. With eight Norns and two Grendels, I figured there would be a couple of entertaining moments! One never knows what to expect in a world, and my greatest fear was that things would be so painfully slow as to render this a bedtime story. It wasn’t exactly the greatest action adventure of all time, yet there were some dangerous surprises that popped up and required immediate action. There were some life or death situations, as well as a whole lot of airborne contaminants. Who survived? Only way to know is to watch!
A Creatures 1 World: Crisis Central
After all was said and done, I realized there were a couple of my Creatures who didn’t receive much attention. Dahloi was smart enough to find his own spotlight to bask in, even if it wasn’t exactly as good as the real thing! His nap made me want to join him after all of the running around and worrying I went through. Please feel free to laugh over some of my silly remarks: Sometimes I wonder where I get my ideas from! Comments are very much encouraged, especially so I can try to work on different aspects for future videos. Thanks!
You sure handled the crisis swiftly! Also, I had no idea that the floating lemon glitch was a common thing, I remember it happening to me when I was a kid though!
Always love to see the videos, you should continue your tutorial series sometime!
I’m amazed I didn’t completely fall apart under the pressure! Although I do think it would have been funny to hear me get all frazzled… Those antigens can be horrible.
The flying lemon glitch does seem to be common, although I don’t remember it happening too often. I’ll have to remember to track that one down and pick it up: I’ve fixed a few of them that way. Let’s hope that’s the only glitch this world encounters!
Thanks for the kind words! The tutorial series will definitely continue on. Now that I know I haven’t forgotten how to make videos, I’ll try to have them out more often. I know I say that a lot, but that plan really will happen this time!
Yay, a video! I took your comment about grabbing a delicious snack very seriously and went to get some pumpkin ice cream. I didn’t get to eat much of it though because once the antigens started flying I was on the edge of my seat! I rarely play C1 but I think I learned quite a few things about C1 illness management from this video. Looking forward to more of these :>
Glad you enjoyed this, Amai! Pumpkin ice cream sounds like it would have been delicious. My quarantine process wasn’t exactly top notch this time around, but this did give me a chance to show how I try to keep everyone alive during illnesses. They can be pretty nasty in Creatures 1! The very last resort (which I’m glad I didn’t have to cover) would have been to focus on the Norns and Grendels who had a chance at recovery. In the past, I’ve had to make the awful decision to let a Norn pass away so I could save a few others. Luckily, this situation wasn’t too bad!
I’ll definitely be making more videos, as this one has gone over quite well. Thanks for watching and leaving your usual brand of wonderful words!
‘usual brand of wonderful words’ Ahhh you’re so sweet <3 Careful, you might inspire me to blog again!
Wow, I love the new video – it was very interesting to see how you handled those diseases! What software are you using these days to make your videos?
Thank you, Malkin! I’m glad I wasn’t too panicked. I still think there will be one of those videos eventually where I completely lose it, and then everyone will have a real reason to laugh at me! I’m still using the wonderful Bandicam, which has always worked really well for me. Nice and simple!
