An Unpredictable Ocean Cart Ride

There was plenty for Nildeleer to celebrate in Albia, after she successfully laid her first egg! She was one of those beings who had a presence about her. It was a rare moment for her to be alone, yet I discovered her with a rather forlorn look in her eyes as she traveled beneath the sea… Alone. Apparently Dahloi showed some affection towards Athahain, which irritated Nildeleer to no end. Or, she was simple swept away by that unpredictable cart! Whatever the case, she was off on her own without her beloved Dahloi. I wondered how she would survive without constantly badgering him. Would she find a replacement? It seemed highly unlikely after all of their time together. I made a note to keep an eye on Nildeleer to make sure she didn’t become saddened by the sudden separation. This was a perfect time for her to rest up, though!

And what of Dahloi, who had always been pestered in consciousness and sleep? Why, he was thrilled with the turn of events! Apparently “graaaah” was a very positive sort of word in his native Grendel tongue. I just read his facial expression, which was priceless for the current situation. Dahloi may have looked content with the disappearance of Nildeleer, yet I imagined he simply needed a short break from her. All the same, I had to laugh over how strange their relationship was! Strange, yet altogether perfect.
