A New Way to Find Discover Albia Downloads
Over the course of the years, there have been a number of downloads made available on Discover Albia. Although these are still somewhat easy to find, creating more means that they will eventually be more difficult to locate in the history of the blog. What to do? No worries! I hinted at a simpler way to find these creations, and I’m pleased to announce that there is now a completely separate section with an easy list of every download! It’s no surprise what it’s called: Downloads! This page can now be located from the main navigation bar on all devices. I tried to make it a short list with helpful links to direct downloads and the release posts, which typically include more information.
Nifty, or just plain confusing? Feel free to share any feedback about this new feature at Discover Albia! There are a couple of old CCSF downloads I still have to move over, although those can be found elsewhere at the moment. They should be available not too far in the future! All existing downloads received updated Readme files, although there’s no need to download anything if you already have it. Luckily, more projects will be in the works shortly so that more downloads will be made available. I hope there are a few interesting creations on the list, but be sure to keep an eye out for new Creatures downloads!

I’m glad you think so, Chip! I was toying around with including preview images and descriptions, but that ended up making the page enormous. This way, I figure people can grab something directly if they know what they want, or visit the release pages for images and information. All release pages also include download links, so I’m hoping it’s as easy as possible!
I like the way it’s set out – it’s very clear.
However, some of the entries are missing links – is that intentional? Grorns and recoloured C1 butterflies, for example, and the single entry for C2. Or are these the CCSF downloads that on the way, as referred to in your post?
Thanks, Sarah! I did jump the gun a little bit. Those four missing links are indeed the CCSF downloads I mentioned. They should be posted sometime in the coming week, though, and then the page will finally be complete! I apologize for that slight confusion: I always do find a way to make things hard, don’t I? Ha! I’ll be sure to post an update when those downloads are available here at Discover Albia.
