In the Happy Spots of Albia

A Reason to Merrily Run Around Creatures 1It took Hybralvao quite some time to recover from her latest pregnancy, which occurred when she was right around twelve hours old. Although the lifespans of Norns can fluctuate quite a bit, especially with genetic mutations, mine usually live between eleven and thirteen hours. I was relieved when Hybralvao remembered how to eat again! She even threw aside her usual stroll and went for the all out run through the garden! I was still laughing over her favorite saying, which still made its way into every conversation. Norns will be Norns, and Hybralvao was no exception! She certainly had a personality that was all her own.

Submarines and Surprises in AlbiaThe Creatures 1 submarine was a pretty popular spot for a few Norns, particularly Pfeffablel. This was the exact location where she became an elder, and her next ride had another surprise! Following in the footsteps of Hybralvao, she wanted to prove that she was still young at heart with another egg. Although Preetar was hidden behind her, she left the father-to-be back on the island. Thrennion seemed glad to be rid of the worries for the time being! It was bittersweet to focus so much on another older Norn… I was only reminded of how little time was left.

Under Albia and Away from the Company of NornsOnly one inhabitant of this world was upset, and that was Dahloi. He had gone back and forth between the island and the garden a few times in a very short period of time. Although he got along with all of the Norns, I could tell that something was missing in his life. He tried out the underground cart, and shared a very sad face with me. I knew what it was: He was looking for Nildeleer, who passed away long ago. As tired of her as he was, Dahloi still loved her. Maybe he wasn’t actively seeking her out, yet I believed that he missed her in many ways. No Norn could ever take the place of another Grendel. I did my best to cheer him up, and he enjoyed the extra attention. Yet Dahloi was alone, and probably would be for awhile.

A Very Excited Norn with a HoneypotPreetar freed himself from everyone long enough for him to devour some honey. What a smile he had! Actually, he was just coming out of the submarine when he was teleported onto the top level of the desert island. This is something I’ve observed many times before, but I’m not entirely sure if there is a fix for it. Please feel free to comment if you know about this issue and any possible solutions! It actually worked out for Preetar, though, so there was no harm done. I gave him a little extra one-on-one attention, since it was typically difficult to get him away from everyone else. It wasn’t precisely that he was popular: Preetar simple found everyone else so very interesting! What a silly guy he was, and I was glad he was in my C1 world with all of the others.
