Filling Up with Creatures Honey and Farewells

Life in Creatures 1 and the Dangers of PopularityThere were no more Norns to introduce to this generation of my Creatures 1 world, yet there were still plenty of adventures to have! Young Thrennion proved how he could quickly adapt, yet he was soon faced with an entirely new situation. Many of the female Norns simply could not resist him! Hybralvao bothered him to the point that he tried to make her stop, while Zelroo took some pointers from the shadows. That, or he may have wanted to remind me about my spriting project… That foot of his wasn’t magical, yet it sure looked like it! Soon, Thrennion, soon.

Eating All the Albian Honey in SightI was still worried about Pathun, especially since he never quite recovered from the passing of Athahain. I caught him with not one, but two honeypots! He ate it up just as fast as he could, all with a smile on his face. Although I was certain he was lonely without his former friend, there was a bit of joy in his life. I also took comfort in the fact that he was an old Norn who could eat on his own. Independence was Pathun’s strong suit! I gave up on trying to move him anywhere else: Pathun was happy where he was, and there was no changing the scenery for him. Although it was highly unlikely, I still liked to think that he was holding onto his memories of Athahain when they lived together in the underground caves.

Balancing on the Underground CartWhereas Pathun was independent and intelligent, I had another Norn who was just the opposite! Preetar was on the underground cart, and he was on it basically forever… He kept going left, changing his mind, going right, and then repeating his fickle attitude. I supposed there was no making up his mind! I caught a glimpse of him when made enough forward progress to get halfway through the tunnel. At least Preetar looked pretty happy about his inability to decide where to go! He was rather pleased with himself for playing a hiding game, too, although there was no escaping my gaze. I was far too involved with my Norns and Grendels, although I had no complaints. Maybe they did, though!

Passing Away in a Joyful Norn WayA sad moment came and went when Pathun suddenly passed away at 8 hours and 44 minutes old. He was still relatively young, yet it was not a horrible way for him to pass on. Just moments before, I saw him drink some hooch and take a shower. I also knew he was full of delicious honey, so I imagined that he died with a smile on his face. Farewell, Pathun, and may you be reunited with Athahain. Oddly enough, Pathun only had one egg to call his own, and it was from Losthrayte. He was a very quiet and private Norn, yet one who had a heart of gold.
